A Graphical Approach to Horadam Sequences with Periodic Coefficients

Abstract
It has been shown by the authors [10] that a linear recurrence relation with periodic coefficients can sometimes be split into relations with constant coefficients. In this paper, we present a graph-theoretic approach to show that all such second-order relations can be split into second-order relations with constant coefficients, and give a new method for calculating these coefficients.
