A New Method of Construction of a Series of Nested Balanced Incomplete Block Designs

Abstract
In this paper a new method of construction of a series of Nested Balanced Incomplete Block Designs (NBIBDs) is introduced in which the inner blocks are constructed using Latin square. The construction is presented in the form of a theorem. The values of the parameters are satisfying the conditions required for NBIBD. The paper concludes with a numerical illustration to obtain a NBIBD with parameters v = 16, r = 15, b1 = 60, k1 = 4, b2 = 120, m = 2, k2 =2, l1 = 3, l2 =1. The appendix consists of parameters of some NBIBDs with their efficiency factors.
