Abstract
Certificateless signature scheme provide the solution of certificate management problem and key escrow problem. Recently, Malhi and Batra construct an efficient certificateless signature scheme for adhoc networks and Liu et al. proposed a certificateless signature scheme. Malhi and Batra, Liu et al. both proved that their scheme is secure under the adaptive chosen message attacks by providing security analysis. In this paper, we analyzed the Malhi and Batra CLS scheme and found it insecure against with the malicious but passive attack type 2 adversary whereas Liu et al. CLS scheme is found insecure against the honest but curious attack type 2 adversary.
