Generalized Uncertain Linguistic Prioritized Weighted Average Operator with Application in Multiple Attribute Group Decision-Making

Abstract
The prioritized weighted average (PWA) operator was introduced by Yager in 2008. An important characteristic of the PWA operator is that it takes into consideration prioritization among attributes and the decision makers. Most evaluation processes employ linguistic variables. We propose a new prioritized weighted aggregation operator called ‘generalized uncertain linguistic prioritized weighted average (GULPWA) operator’ for aggregating uncertain linguistic variables. Properties of the new aggregation operator are studied and their special cases examined. Based on the GULPWA operator, an approach to deal with multiple attribute group decision-making problems under uncertain linguistic environments is developed. A real-life problem is included to illustrate the use of GULPWA in multiple attribute group decision-making process. The prioritized weighted average (PWA) operator was introduced by Yager in 2008.
