Abstract:
Violence Against Women (VAW) remains one of the most pervasive and underreported human rights violations worldwide, with lasting physical, psychological, andsocio-economicconsequences.Thisstudypresentsacross-nationalanalysisofVAW using data from 70 countries, focusing on demographic factors such as age, education, and marital status. By examining patterns in justification and reported incidents of violence, thestudyidentifieskeypredictorsandregionaldisparities.Findingsunderscore the protective role of education and highlight the vulnerability of younger women. The results provide evidence for targeted policy interventions and reinforce the need for global cooperation in addressing the structural roots of gender-based violence.
