India Emerges as a Mediation Destination in South Asia

In a post-Covid world, with trade regaining momentum, India has the potential to establish itself as a preferred mediation services provider for commercial disputes among stakeholders in South Asia, and even beyond.

Muthupandi Ganesan is the Chairperson, Society of Mediators London. He is a dual qualified lawyer, both in the UK and in India. He was admitted to practice as a barrister-at-law in England and Wales and is a qualified advocate in India (Tamil Nadu). He is a litigation and strategy specialist, especially in cases involving crossborder issues in bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring and international commercial arbitration. He advises and represents both individuals and companies on a range of regulatory and commercial issues, including mergers and acquisitions, as well as directors and shareholders disputes. He also specialises in antibribery, anti-corruption, civil and criminal asset recovery under the proceeds of crime legislation in various different jurisdictions.
