Tan Sri Dato Professor Joseph Adaikalam is Founder Chairman of Binary University in Selangor, Malaysia. An educationist, social entrepreneur and philanthropist, he is advisor to the Government of Malaysia under the Entrepreneurship Development Advisory Council and advisor to previous Prime Ministers of Malaysia under the National Economic Advisory Council. He was knighted as a Dato (Sir) in 2007 and Dato Paduka in 2015. In 2017, the King of Malaysia bestowed the title of “Tan Sri” nation’s highest civilian title for his outstanding contributions to the nation.
