Cyber Technology can maximise benefits for both security and defence. It can also persuade nations to forge closer cooperation. In the Indo Pacific region, this cooperation has much potential and opportunity to develop new cyber technologies to overcome threats in this domain.

Vice Admiral Professor Dr. Ir. Amarulla Octavian, S.T., M.Sc., DESD., of the Indonesian Navy, is Rector of the Republic of Indonesia Defense University. He holds a Master of Science degree from Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas and a doctorate on military sociology from University of Indonesia. He has been a visiting professor to the Japan National Defense Academy, and the PLA National Defense University.
