The Oakdale Affair is a mystery novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, written in 1917 and originally titled Bridge and the Oskaloosa Kid. A partial sequel to The Mucker (1914), it follows the character Bridge as he investigates a crime in the town of Oakdale. First published in Blue Book Magazine in 1918, the novel was later released as a book in 1937, paired with The Rider. It was also adapted into a silent film in 1919.
