Random Thoughts offers an analytical examination of religion, history, civilisation, sociology, economics, and Western geopolitics to explain the emergence of the United States as the pre-eminent power of the twentieth century and the construction of the US-led world order. It contends that this order was marked by inherent structural and conceptual limitations, rooted in the West’s neglect and suppression of non-Western civilisational dynamics. The book analyses how these long-term historical and sociological forces are now reasserting themselves, contributing to a systemic shift from an anti-civilisational international order toward an emerging world order grounded in civilisational principles.
