Global warming refers to the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans in recent decades and its projected continuation. Global warming is not a newly discovered phenomenon. The term "global warming" is a specific example of the broader term climate change, which can also refer to global cooling. In common usage, the term refers to recent warming and implies a human influence. Global warming may seem like an overwhelming and insurmountable problem. But there are easy things you can do around your home, in your backyard, and with your automobile that will help the planet and your pocketbook. Dr. K.K Singh did his B.Sc (Ag.) Hons. M. Sc (Ag) in Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science from Agra University, Agra and M. Phil and PhD in Applied Chemistry from A.M.U. Aligarh. He qualified national Eligibility Test in Soil Science Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Soil Chemistry / Fertility and Microbiology in 1995 and NET 1997 in Soil Science Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Soil Physics/ Soil & Water Conservation. He joined the Department of Agriculture, Govt. of Rajasthan in 1993 as Asst. Agril. Research Officer (Chem.) and presently working at Project Directorate (Research), Agriculture and Soil Survey, Krishi Bhawan, Bikaner.
